Susan brings over eight years of experience in property and flood insurance, with a strong focus on policy accuracy, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment. As a licensed Texas General Lines Property & Casualty professional, she plays a key role in ensuring coverage is properly structured, compliant, and aligned with both carrier and lender expectations.
Before joining Pathfinder, Susan supported FEMA Region 6 as a Regional Support Liaison, where she served as a subject matter expert on flood compliance and NFIP policy interpretation across multiple states. She also spent several years underwriting and servicing flood policies while working closely with compliance, claims, and underwriting teams to resolve complex coverage and mapping challenges.
At Pathfinder, Susan supports clients and internal teams by reviewing policy details, validating data accuracy, and helping ensure portfolios are structured correctly from the start. Her attention to detail and deep understanding of insurance operations help reduce errors, improve turnaround times, and create a smoother experience for clients.
Susan holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies from Grand Canyon University and is known for her collaborative approach, clear communication, and commitment to getting the details right.
